VII XXIII MMXXVI
It was an ordinary Thursday, mostly doing chores.
I did finish Kaķīša dzirnavas by Kārlis Skalbe, which I then discussed with my wife to see how much of the story I understood. I got the general gist of it but I missed quite a few details.
The next Latvian book (which I got from the pick up station before buying the groceries) is Sprīdītis by Anna Brigadere, a 90-page-long play.
As part of my new exercise routine using the indoor bike in the afternoon, I did some stretches before that today. I also managed to reach 147 max bpm during the workout, but I was close to my limit there, I think.
For lunch we had my scalloped potatoes, which was a bit of a treat. It takes about two hours to prepare. We only eat it for special occasions, like my wife being on vacation.
